2025 8th Graduation

Bougainville College of Nursing (BCON) has formally entered into an academic affiliation with Divine Word University (DWU) following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the College’s Graduation Ceremony held in Arawa.
The MoU provides academic recognition for the Diploma in General Nursing programme and establishes pathways for the development of higher-level nursing programmes under Divine Word University.
The 2025 graduating class, present at the ceremony, became the first cohort to receive academic recognition following BCON’s affiliation with DWU. The programme delivery and training were undertaken by BCON.
Established in 2016, Bougainville College of Nursing has graduated a total of 174 nursing professionals, contributing significantly to the healthcare workforce in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.
The affiliation marks an important milestone in strengthening nursing education and advancing healthcare training in Bougainville.
